For Kheylani Williams, modeling isn’t just about walking a runway — it’s about honoring a legacy. Crowned Miss Teen New York US Nation 2025, she carries with her not only her own aspirations but also the unfulfilled dream of her mother, who once graced runways before life pulled her in a different direction.
Her journey with the Miss US Nation Pageants began at the borough level, as Miss Teen Brooklyn US Nation. That first crown became the stepping stone that prepared her for the statewide stage — and eventually led her to represent New York itself.
“My first time on a runway was when I was just one year old, walking with my mom,” Kheylani recalls. “She was a model before I was born, and although she never had the chance to fully pursue her dream, she passed that passion on to me.” What began as a tender family moment has grown into a calling that she now embraces wholeheartedly.
To Kheylani, the modeling industry is not about surface-level beauty. She sees it as a medium for storytelling and representation, a space to showcase individuality and diversity. “It’s a way to encourage others to embrace who they are,” she says, adding that the power of the runway lies in its ability to inspire confidence and self-expression.

Her newly earned title as Miss Teen New York US Nation 2025 is more than a crown — it’s a platform. With it, she plans to open doors in both fashion and pageantry, attend industry events, and create meaningful connections. But most importantly, she hopes to inspire others from similar backgrounds to chase their dreams without hesitation. “My title gives me credibility, visibility, and the ability to share my voice with a bigger audience,” she says with determination.
Looking ahead, Kheylani envisions herself on some of the world’s most prestigious stages. “In five years, I see myself walking for major fashion weeks, being signed with a reputable modeling agency, and using my influence to mentor young aspiring models.” Her dreams include walking the runways of New York and Paris Fashion Week, showcasing collections for designers who challenge boundaries in creativity and inclusivity. Of which, she will be featured at New York Fashion Week this year for Super Chic New York Fashion Week Fall 2025.
As a young woman in an industry often burdened with stereotypes, Kheylani is determined to break barriers. She challenges the notion that models and pageant queens must fit a narrow mold. “Talent, work ethic, and personality are just as important as appearance,” she says, emphasizing that modeling can be powerful and meaningful work, not just glamour.
What sets her apart is not only her drive but also the emotional depth behind her journey. “Something unique about me is that I carry my mom’s dream alongside my own,” she shares. Even in challenging moments, she reminds herself to keep moving forward with grace: “Every step I take in this journey is also for her.”
